PRELUDE -THE ELECTION

Now that the election is a few weeks behind us and emotions have calmed, it is time to examine what really happened.

We have been assaulted by the media, all the talking heads and all the political parties trying to analyze what the Republicans Party, the Tea Party and the Right in general did wrong. What caused them to lose the election? Why is much of the nation angry as hell over the election results?  Why are Petitions to secede jamming the White House website?

The answer to all these questions is really quite simple. All you have to do is look closer at the Election Map to discover the answer – Nothing! Absolutely Nothing!

For the sake of brevity, let us examine the results from just 5 large, pivotal  states:

Ohio – 18 Electoral Votes

Ohio has 88 counties and only 17 of them voted for Obama but ONE of them gave Obama a large enough margin to overcome Romney’s lead in the rest of the state. Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) gave Obama an unbelievable 38 point and 235,000 vote margin to give the state to Obama by 103,000 votes. No other county in the state came close to that kind of margin.

Pennsylvania – 20 Electoral Votes

Pennsylvania has 66 counties and 51 voted for Romney but ONE returned an incredible, unbelievable 85+% for Obama and swung the total state vote to his column. Philadelphia county and city – brotherly love or…….?

Florida – 29 Electoral Votes

With 66 counties, Florida had 53 (80%) vote for Mitt Romney. ONE, however, went for Obama in such incredible numbers that it moved the whole state into the Democratic column. Miami-Dade County – that bastion of governmental ethics – voted 62%-38% for Obama.

A first look at how to accomplish will be posted in a few days

Illinois – 20 Electoral Votes

Illinois has over 100 counties and ONE changed the election. That’s right. Cook County (Chicago) had more of a margin then the rest of the state of Illinois combined. The acknowledged most politically corrupt and Democratic organized county in the nation decided the election. Obama’s home town - with a mayor who used to be his chief of staff and a Democratic machine as famous for its fixed elections as it organization - gave Obama enough votes to overcome Romney’s advantage in the rest of Michigan.

Nevada – 6 Electoral Votes

Out of 17 counties only two counties in Nevada voted for Obama but ONE of those (Clark – the home of virtuous Las Vegas) went to the Democrat by a margin large enough o swing the whole state to Obama.

So, what do we take from this little study besides that FIVE counties (in five states with a total of 328 counties) moved 93 electoral votes and the Presidency from Romney to Obama?

  1. First we learn that The Republicans and the Right ran an excellent campaign. Despite Obama and the Left’s hysterical screaming that Romney and the Republicans would destroy the Middle Class, the Middle Class proved too smart and voted overwhelmingly for Romney/Ryan. The Regan Democrats came back to the party they trust with their future; Independents abandoned the party of class and racial warfare and voted solidly Republican. A look at voting results by county or precinct not only proves this but shows that any attempt to deny this is not “spin” but outright dishonesty. It may not match the exit polls but it is the truth.
  2. Second and most importantly, we learn that the United States of America is now ruled by a coalition of large, urban areas (where illegal immigrants tend to flock, where large numbers of residents pay no taxes and file no returns, where huge percentages of the population depend on and are addicted to government handouts and where even local governments are rife with corruption and cannot exist without federal and state subsidies and areas where government bureaucrats reside.
  3. These areas control not only the Presidency but the Senate (since it is decided by state wide votes) and the Supreme Court (since Justices are appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate).
  4. Most importantly, with any objective thinking, we quickly realize this is a permanent shift in the determination of government of what was only recently the greatest nation on earth. In the United States of America, the people who fund the government, do the work, provide employment, support charities and schools and care for their families are no longer relevant in the decision making about the direction and policies of the government. They only exist to pass money to the government and groups who produce nothing and depend on the government for their existence.

The next steps we must take are to determine what (if anything) can be done to recreate a nation like the one we had for the first 200+ years of our existence. A nation that rewards hard work, supports private enterprise, has fiscal policies that ensure the existence and freedom of our nation, protects the rights of its Citizens as guaranteed in the Constitution and enforces all laws equally regardless of race, gender or religion.  A nation that welcomes immigrants who want to join the country as new Citizens and who believe in the old American values.  A nation where freedom of religion is guaranteed but freedom from exposure to the principals of our founding fathers is not.
